Physical Fitness
Members need to be physically fit and able to carry rescue equipment over an extended period of time in harsh terrain.
Continuous Testing
Must pass a skills test to become certified to search with the Technical Ropes Team.
Rope Mastery
Learn the complex knot tying, rope mechanics and rappelling techniques involved in ropes rescues.
Ongoing Training
Attend trainings throughout the year to keep their skills current and participate in search operations.
